Architecture of Enniscorthy

Architecturally Enniscorthy is best known as the birthplace of Kathleen Eileen Moray Gray (August 9, 1878 – October 31, 1976), the Irish furniture designer and architect, and pioneer of the International Style aesthetic. She was born into an aristocratic family near Enniscorthy and was the youngest of five children and the family was wealthy, owning several homes. Gray spent most of her childhood living in family homes, either in Ireland or South Kensington in London.
