Architectural Association of Ireland (AAI)
The AAI was founded in 1896 'to promote and afford facilities for the study of architecture and the allied sciences and arts, and to provide a medium of friendly communication between members and others interested in the progress of architecture'. It sponsors a public lecture series and annual awards.
Irish Architectural Archive
The Irish Architectural Archive is a charitable company which was established in 1976 to collect and preserve the records of Ireland's architectural heritage and make those records available to those who wish to consult them. The collections housed by Archive comprise the largest body of historic architectural records in Ireland and as such constitute a vital national cultural resource. They include the most significant body of historic Irish architectural drawings in the world, with in excess of 80,000 drawings ranging in date from the late seventeenth to the late twentieth centuries. http://www.iarc.ie
Irish Georgian Society
The Irish Georgian Society was founded in 1958 by the Hon. Desmond Guinness and his late wife, Mariga, for the protection of buildings of architectural merit in Ireland. Dublin Civic Trust
Dublin Civic Trust offers an advisory service to owners and occupiers of buildings, developers and building professionals, in the restoration and refurbishment of 18th and 19th century buildings. The service includes advice on decorative features like brickwork, stonework, decorative plasterwork or panelled interiors. Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland (RIAI)
The Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland is the representative body for professionally qualified architects in Ireland. Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA)
The advancement of Architecture, and the promotion of the acquisition of knowledge of the Arts and Sciences connected with architecture. The promotion and pursuit of design and excellence in all aspects of the built environment and the recognition of past achievement in these areas. Ulster Architectural Heritage Society (UAHS)

Limerick Civic Trust
Limerick Civic Trust was formally inaugurated at a public meeting on 17 February 1983. It was Ireland’s first Civic Trust. We are a self-funding Conservation Society, which initiates and undertakes a programme of projects for the general improvements of Limerick’s environment in conjunction with local authorities, state agencies and other interested parties.
