Three thousand new jobs will be created by the controversial skyscraper development on Dublin's George's Quay, a planning appeal heard yesterday. The Cosgrave Property Group maintained employment levels in the capital will be lower if the high rise apartment-office complex opposite the Customs House does not get the final go-ahead. It was the third day of a Bord Pleanala hearing of eight appeals against the granting of permission nto the skyscraper development at George's Quay nwhich at 73 meters high would be taller than Liberty Hall.
