Dublin's £2m millennium boardwalk along the River Liffey will not be built in time for the New Year's Eve celebrations as planned, it emerged yesterday. And concerns over traffic disruption on the city centre quays in the run-up to Christmas may see the flagship project built from pontoons floating on the river. Dublin Corporation said yesterday that difficulties had arisen in relation to traffic management. The boardwalk will be a four-metre wide structure along the north bank of the river between O'Connell St and Capel St bridge.
