Residents celebrate downfall of glass giants

Dublin city-centre residents were last night celebrating their escape from the shadow of the skyscraper. Bord Pleanala rejected plans for a cluster of glass towers, rising to 24 storeys, intended for offices and apartments. The decision on the George's Quay project has cast doubt on all plans for skyscrapers in the city.

The Arts Council
