Iarnrod Eireann is proposing to build a 60-metre-high extension to Tara Street station in Dublin. If approved, the building would be higher than Liberty Hall, which is located across the river and is 54 metres high. A telecommunications tower at the top of the building would bring the completed development to 80 metres according to the planning application.
