Manhattan by the Liffey: Development 'not a high rise' says its designer
Kevin Roche, the architect behind the controversial 1.2bn skyscraper plan for Dublin's docklands says he is prepared to lower the height of the buildings. He told the hearing that he did not believe the proposed skyscrapers up to 22 storeys were high rise. 'These are low to medium rise buildings and I don't regard them as high-rise. We start high rise at 40 floors'.
