New town at Kilbride set to develop

The Irish Independent

The first new town in Ireland since the creation of Shannon 40 years ago is now on the cards for Kilbride Co. Meath. The village of less than 100 people with one pub and a school is ten miles from Dublin centre and proposals have been drawn up to create a town of 5,000 people there with corresponding employment opportunities.
