Demolition work started on Tuesday on buildings adjoining the 19th century Harper Campbell warehouses in Sligo, but the corporation has now postponed demolishing it pending further examination. Campaigners say they are ready to serve a High Court injunction on Sligo Corporation if they refuse to accept an offer from the Heritage Council to assess the building.
