Father Mathew Hall on conservation list for now

The Sunday Business Post

Dublin's Father Mathew Hall, a focal point for the nationalist movement of the early 1900s has been saved from the threat of demolition at least temporarily. Dublin Corporation last week issued a proposal to `spot-list' the building, the first step towards including the Victorian hall on its list of protected structures. Both the interior and exterior of the hall are now protected by the corporation until a final decision is reached as to whether the hall should be listed or not.
