The National Museum of Ireland has scored one of its greatest coups by beating the Pompidou Centre in Paris to acquire a major collection by the hugely influential Irish-born designer, Eileen Gray. The National Museum has acquired Gray's personal collection from her apartment in Paris, including furniture, models and personal effects.
