Highrise buildings will be permitted in certain locations in a new look Dublin city which is to undergo groundbreaking change. And a new Dublin Corporation report also unveils key inner city centre areas for large scale 'character changes' in the medium to long term. Areas around Heuston Station, Spencer Dock and the South Docks have been identified for high rise as they have major transport links.
