A cliffhanger moment
Dublin is home to a rare architectural event, an exhibition devoted to a single Irish building. Ronald Tallon: Goulding House, at the Davis gallery on Capel Street, charts the dramatic structure that Sir Basil Goulding built between 1971 and 1972. Better known as the Summerhouse, the structure Tallon designed to overhang Dargle Glen, on Goulding's estate near Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, has become an international icon of modern architecture.
