The pint-of-plain experience
One of Dublin's largest and most impressive industrial buildings will be opened to the public next week as a shrine to Ireland's most famous alcoholic drink - the pint of Guinness. On December 1, the old Guinness Hop Store will close and the new Guinness Storehouse, which is located close by, will replace it. The storehouse is not a museum, although it houses many important Guinness artefacts such as ship models, engines, tools, bottles and advertising.
