New-look £1.2bn skyscraper city plan for docklands
A new look skyscraper city for Dublin's Spencer Dock has been drawn up after the first scheme was rejected by the planning appeals board. The developers hope they can speed the new scheme through the planning process to allow construction begin this summer. Treasury Holdings has gone back to the drawing board for an "entirely new" docklands scheme, including a National Conference Centre, which is significantly lower than the one rejected by An Bord Pleanala last July, a developers spokesman said.
