It's 1015 on a sunny Saturday morning near Rossinver, Co Leitrim, and the carpark of the Organic Centre is filling up fast. A team from the centre shepherds us to our variouscourses. A group wearing conspicuously new wellington boots is led off to the compost demonstration area to learn the finer points of making black gold. Another band clusters around the weird and wonderful bits of gear to be used in the solar/wind energy course while we take our seats indoors for the course on energy efficiency and sustainable building; in other words, green housing.
