The whole concept of 'Retail Therapy', is that shopping makes you feel good and this concept is prescribed to by everyone and not just movie stars. Thus the ambience of the retail outlet becomes very important. It is imperative that shoppers feel comfortable in the shop's environment and actually enjoy purchasing their goods; it also ensures that they will return. This concept was kept in mind by van Dijk Architects when they worked on Tony McDonnell's menswear shop in Dundalk's Earl Street.
