The rich farmland of Co Meath is well known for its wooded estates, 18th century houses and impressive castles such as Killeen and Dunsany. What is perhaps less well known is the extent of other interesting historic buildings that deserve to be protected in that county. A book by Kevin Mulligan describing some of Meath's protected structures has just been published and it should be of particular interest to anyone from the region.
