Hawkins House - one of Dublin's ugliest office blocks - is set for a complete facelift at a cost of around euro30m (Ł24m). The Office of Public Works is seeking planning approval for a recladding and refurbishment of the building to bring it up to current office standards. Around 600 Department of Health officials will have to be relocated to enable the scheme.
