Dunnes set to decide on city HQ

The Irish Times

Dunnes Stores is to decide shortly whether to proceed with the redevelopment of a large section of South Great George's Street in Dublin 2. The €25 million scheme is due to accommodate a corporate headquarters and about nine shops. bAlthough Dunnes director Frank Dunne made a commitment last year to relocate the HQ to an 11-storey block in Blanchardstown which he is buying for over €25 million, there are indications that the company may have had second thoughts about moving to the western suburbs.
