Bord Gáis sells D'Olier offices for excess Euro8m

The Irish Independent

Bord Gáis has sold its landmark showrooms/offices in Dublin's D'Olier St to Trinity College for over Euro8m. TCD intends to accommodate an expanding school of nursing in the property. The historic building occupies around a third of an acre and has been divided into three interconnecting buildings with extensive frontages to D'Olier St, Hawkins St and Leinster Market. It was designed around 1928 by John J Robinson and RC Keefe in alliance with the Dublin Consumer Gas Company.
