Cinema site planning hearing is adjourned

A hearing organised by An Bord Pleanála into the compulsory purchase order by Dublin City Council on the Carlton Cinema site on Upper O'Connell Street has been adjourned. An Bord Pleanála's Michael Ward adjourned proceedings until 5 June so that Dublin City Council could provide documentation to the objectors. The compulsory purchase order is being opposed by the company which secured planning permission to develop the former cinema.
