The Royal Society of Ulster Architects' latest awards confirm that the standard of contemporary architecture north of the Border is improving all the time. Peace, and the confidence it engenders, has certainly been paying dividends for the construction industry in Northern Ireland. Building is an act of faith in the future and, judging by the level of activity in Belfast in particular, architects and their clients are among the true believers.
