Lift at Architectural Archive is appealed

The Irish Georgian Society has appealed planning permission for a platform lift for wheelchair users at the front of the Irish Architectural Archive building at 44-45 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. If it is allowed, the society says, it would "create an extremely serious precedent for our historic terraced squares and streets".
