Tarla MacGabhann's Letterkenny civic offices are the work of a rising star. Letterkenny is possibly the least planned town in the least planned county in Ireland. It is literally all over the place. Bungalows litter the rolling landscape around the Co Donegal town. Yet here, on the edge of his home town, Tarla MacGabhann — an intense new talent in Irish architecture — has delivered a building of international interest, Letterkenny civic offices.
