Minister Noel Ahern TD recently joined the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Dermot Lacey at the opening ceremony for number 9 Merchants Quay, Dublin 2. This restoration project of a 17th century building was a joint effort undertaken by Dublin City Council and Dublin Civic Trust. A dedicated team of professionals undertook the work as part of the Historic Heart of Dublin Project and has received funding under Article 10 of the European Regional Development Fund.
