College opposes extension to National Library

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland has appealed planning permission granted to the OPW to extend the National Library on Kildare Street. The college says it owns the yard to the rear of the library off Leinster Road, in which it is proposed to build a new pedestrian entrance, vehicular access ramps and entrance gates to the library.
