€230m dockside office block gets the nod

Construction on the controversial Spencer Dock site is set to begin after the Dublin Docklands Development Authority gave the green light to a major office development. Special "Section 25" planning permission has been granted for the €230m office block scheduled to house anchor tenant PricewaterhouseCooper's new headquarters building. The project is being undertaken by the Spencer Dock Development Company, a public/private consortium comprising Treasury Holdings, CIE and docklands entrepreneur Harry Crosbie
