The streets around the Five Lamps area of Dublin are the subject of a proposed development that will be key to the action plan for the north-east inner city. Edel Morgan reports The latest planning application to redevelop the once notorious "Monto" area of north-east inner city Dublin is for a mixed development which will include a Municipal Arts centre and a dance centre. The Liberty Corner project is a key element of the massive €762 million plan underway to rejuvenate the deprived areas around the Five Lamps on Amiens Street under the North East Inner City integrated area plan.
