Council building wins top design award - Irish Architectural News

Offaly County Council's new civic offices in Tullamore was named last night as the Best Public Building of 2003 in this year's Irish architecture awards. Its architects, Ahrends Burton and Koralek, also won a second special award - Most Sustainable Building - for incorporating environmental principles into the design of the building.
