'Futuristic' €3.5m city bridge given the go-ahead

The Irish Independent

A futuristic footbridge across the River Liffey in Dublin has been given the go-ahead and work is expected to start later this year. It will be the third exclusively pedestrian bridge to cross the river and will be built about 300m east of the Matt Talbot bridge. It is to link the docklands and the soon to be completed 150,000sq ft Custom House Quay shopping and restaurant development on the north side of the river with Lombard Street on the south side.
