Dublin city planners have proposed removing up to 500 buildings - including Arthur Griffith's home - from the capital's protected structure list as part of 2004 city development plan. Dublin city councillors were told last night that conservationists have recommended delisting 500 mostly Victorian houses as they do not qualify under new heritage legislation.
