The €2.4bn Metro for Dublin is set to get the green light within weeks following EU changes that will dramatically speed up a number of stalled, major projects. It will link Dublin Airport with Connolly Rail Station. The school building programme nationwide and the Cork School of Music are also expected to benefit, as the Government will be able to attract more private cash in public/private partnership deals.
