Developer rounds on 'serial objectors'

The Irish Independent

A prominent developer has hit out at "serial objectors" following two appeals to An Bord Pleanala against the granting of planning permission for proposals for multi-euro developments on derelict sites. The appeals, which will delay the projects in Waterford city, may spark layoffs among construction workers ready to start work next month. Both developments are on the city's O'Connell Street. One is for offices, and 20 apartments. The other is for 12 apartments on the former Dennys Covers site.
