The Architectural Association of Ireland (AAI) has released details of its Autumn schedule of events. Listed at their website, the programme contains the usual variety of lectures and site visits. The AAI was founded in 1896 'to promote and afford facilities for the study of architecture and the allied sciences and arts, and to provide a medium of friendly communication between members and others interested in the progress of architecture'. Amongst the hightlights for this season are: a visit to the Grafton Architects' Extension to Parson's Building, Trinity College Dublin; a lecture by O'Donnell + Tuomey related to the Irish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale which will be introduced by Ireland's commissoner Shane O'Toole and deputy commissioner Paul Kelly; and further lectures by Juan Domingo Santos, and Cino Zucchi. The Tegral Critics Lecture will be given by Terence Riley, Chief Curator of Architecture and Design, MOMA, New York.
