The Heritage Council in partnership with the Bolton Library, Cashel (the Cashel Diocesan Library), wishes to appoint suitably qualified consultants to prepare a Conservation Plan for the Bolton Library, Cashel, Co. Tipperary.

The Conservation Plan is intended to assist in understanding the significance of the Library and inform policies and priorities for its future care and conservation

The successful applicants will demonstrate an understanding of historic buildings, monuments, librarianship and archival management, and the conservation and management of early printed material.

They will be familiar with national and international conservation policies and philosophies for buildings and collections, and have the skills to develop the policies emerging from this plan if required, to design, planning and implementation stages.
