Pier plans delayed again
Delays in the design process for the Carlisle Pier project in Dún Laoghaire have forced developers to postpone lodging a planning application for the second time. It had been hoped that a planning application to regenerate the 19th-century pier would have been lodged in 2004. This was postponed to the first quarter of 2005 pending engineering studies, and has now been postponed again, to September.
