Imagine Eyre Square in Galway with a zoo with no cages, a chocolate volcano, a playground with a giant swing, an escalator to nowhere, and a Leaning Tower of Pizza. While in reality the revamp of the square is on hold, with the main contractor quitting early this summer, the city's children have been busy creating their own imaginary Galway. Twelve young artists/architects aged between five and 10 have designed and built a model of their dream city after going through tough negotiations with their own "planning board".
