Garden and Landscape Designers Association 10th Annual Seminar

Entitled, Landscape Polygamy: marrying the client, the site and the designer, it promises to provoke, inspire and stimulate with lectures delivered by a number of internationally renowned designers and plants people. Gilles Clément, agricultural engineer, gardener, landscape designer, botanist, entomologist, is perhaps best known for his theory of the "planetary garden" or garden in motion, which was explored to much acclaim at the world renowned Parc Andre Citroën in Paris. BBC television presenter, author and multi award winning designer Andy Sturgeon will also be providing his unique insight into the world of contemporary garden creation.

Representing Ireland and sure to provoke debate is controversial holistic Architect, Michael Rice. With over 50 projects completed in the last ten years, many of which being borne from his use of sacred geometry and the natural patterns of nature, Michael has established a reputation for dynamism, innovation and creativity.

Having spent many years studying at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and having completed a PhD in the planting styles of 20th century Britain and Germany, respected Belgian garden designer Isabelle van Groeningen is sure to satiate the growing hunger for free flowing, low maintenance herbaceous planting.
