Pearse Street

This site, between Cumberland and Sandwith Street with a large frontage to Pearse Street is currently being used as a surface car park. The proposed redevelopment is a mixed development of academic and commercial space. The design is being developed at present by RKD Architects and a planning application will be lodged shortly.

The academic facilities to be housed in this development include a Biosciences Institute with supporting facilities and additional third level teaching and research accommodation. The development which adjoins Pearse Railway station and the design incorporates a proposal for a new entrance to the station.
