Webworks wins design award

Cork Webworks, a striking new building designed to accommodate start up and small to medium sizes enterprises, has been named "New Development of the Year" at Cork's Better Buildings Awards. The 3530 sqm building near Cork City Hall was developed by Howard Holdings in conjunction with Enterprise Ireland and Cork City Council. The award continues a 'run' of design and business awards won by Howard Holdings which is now headquartered in Cork. The annual awards are adjudicated by representatives of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and Cork City Council.
