Ormond Quay site to be developed

The Sunday Business Post

John Paul Construction has secured planning permission from Dublin City Council for a five-storey mixed use block on Ormond Quay, opposite the council’s offices. The plan includes 3,700 square metres of offices, several shops, five own-door office units and a two-bed apartment Earlier this year, John Paul Construction was chosen by Dublin City Council as the preferred bidder to develop the site, which has lain derelict since 2003. It is adjacent to the Four Courts and the Luas line, and is close to Temple Bar. The site previously housed the Charles Street health clinic, which was demolished with the intention that the land would be used by the courts.
