VERTICAL CANAL
The iconic form of the tower derives from the main character of the Dublin Docklands area: the geometry of the CANAL. As a vertical CANAL, a metaphor, the tower introduces itself the gate of the great openness of the Grand Canal area.

BLURRED TOWER
The CANAL looks quiet in its appearance with the floating objects on the water body. Simultaneously, it is holding tremendous energy. The energy permeates through out the areas along the CANAL. While the energy goes vertically up through the tower, the objects in the tower become floating, transparent and blurred. the skin of the tower will be clear glass to create a great transparency. And the wire mesh will form the boundary of the vertical canal to create the blurred edges. The energy is floating in the tower.

U2
Located at the top of the tower, the U2 studio becomes a floating spirit. A super graphic sign, U2, will be created to enhance the image of Dublin.
