The project develops the meaning of a landmark;
It stands as a monolithic shape within a confused and broken up landscape - the docklands area; its evocative shape means to be a dramatic as well as a celebratory gesture towards the city.

The big communication pipes at the top recall the idea of sound spreading into the city and towards the world. Music is perhaps the only human activity that has kept its archaic authenticity.
The big coloured pipes are technologic devices meant to diffuse sound, light and images.

They remind us of an archaic musical instrument becoming a new contemporary element- a symbol of the power of the music

The building rises from a platform on a set of concrete elements in the shape of big breaking waves, through which the wind can blow. The platform has a wavy roof with a garden on the top.

The tower element seems to rise from the surrounding water surface and contains a mix of different size apartments with the band space at the top.
A green semi-transparent skin covers the tower and allows a view of the activities inside the tower.
Each level has a large quantity of circulation in order to generate / serve public spaces, unexpected gardens and terraces .
The band space at the top of the tower looks towards the city and also has a large terrace on the backside.

From every point within the tower, you will have the perception of being between water and sky.
