The scheme relates to any building completed in County Louth, including Dundalk & Drogheda urban centres, between 1st April 2001 and 31st March 2006. Nominations or submissions are open to any owner, designer, contractor, community group or other member of the public.

The Peter Rice Award will be the overall winner of the Design & Conservation Award Scheme and will be chosen by the independent judging panel. The award will be a specialised commissioned piece and will acknowledge the expertise and skill of professionals who strive to encourage best practice and sensitive design in the environment.
